Union: Lodge 1297Shift: 5:30am – 1:30pm, straight day shift Pay Rate: $32.995 per hour The Machine Repair Worker performs highly skilled mechanical maintenance and repair work throughout Libbey’s manufacturing facility.RESPONSIBILITIES Setup, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of industrial machineryPerform machine rebuilding and rebuilding of other related assembliesManufacture machine parts, within specifications, from Engineering drawingsPerform assembly and repair of forming equipment and section tear down and rebuildingPerform routine and preventative maintenance, rebuild processing production machineryConfer with engineers, production personnel, and others to resolve machining or assembly problems REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Skilled trades journey persons card preferredMust successfully pass drug screen and background checkCapable of using ID/OD and surface grinding machines is a plus Proficient in reading and editing conventional CNC programs and operations CNC lathes and mills preferred Proficient at blueprint readingsProficient with precision measuring instrumentsStrong understanding and passion for safe, clean and organized work environmentsApplied knowledge of effective trouble shooting and root cause analysisExcellent teamwork and communication skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. and able to perform overhead workWillingness to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, oil, high temperature)
