Step into Your New Role

Kleinfelder's Irving (DFW) TX office is looking for an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our engineering team with experience, skills and interest in developing their career.

We are looking for someone experienced in:

  • Soil and Rock Classification/Boring Logs,
  • Geotechnical Field Investigations
  • Shallow/Deep Foundation Design,
  • Slope Stability,
  • Trouble-shooting Geotechnical issues during construction,
  • Engineering Analysis,
  • Report Preparation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Including Word, Excel, and Power Point preferred
  • An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, supervisors, clients, subcontractors and regulators.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • BS in Civil Engineering is required (geotechnical emphasis preferred).
  • EIT is preferred (or the ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Ability to travel up to 90 percent (first year to year and a half)

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon Individual qualifications and experience.
