We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support our operations by managing inventory, transporting materials, and ensuring timely delivery throughout the facility. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our production running smoothly and efficiently. After the initial training period on 1st shift, this will be a 3rd shift position.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments; inspect materials for damage and verify quantities against packing slips.
- Store materials in designated locations with proper organization and labeling.
- Operate and maintain automated bagging equipment; inspect and troubleshoot as needed.
- Address issues such as clogged conveying lines or product buildup in bins.
- Transport materials within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform inventory counts, and report discrepancies.
- Pick, stage, and load orders with precision and timeliness.
- Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance of forklifts and other equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Enter material movement and inventory data into the company’s ERP system.
- Complete documentation related to inventory adjustments and order fulfillment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred.
- Basic math, computer literacy, and ERP data entry experience.
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, procedures, and work instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to act independently when needed.
- Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Valid forklift certification, or ability to obtain.
- Must pass drug screening, complete a background check and physical, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in a manufacturing plant environment with potential exposure to chemicals, fumes, and loud noise.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs/ladders (up to 140’), and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination required for operating equipment and tools.
- Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, humidity, and noise.
- Use of PPE, including masks or respirators, as required.
- Adequate vision and hearing (with corrective devices if needed) to detect issues and communicate effectively.
- Strict adherence to all safety policies, including fall protection and confined space procedures.
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a physically demanding role.
