The Surplus Lines Coordinator temporary role is responsible for processing Surplus Lines requests/placements for all Hylant offices. This role advises Hylant associates on Surplus Lines process/compliance per state statutes and is also responsible for efficiently maintaining records for Surplus Lines filings.

In this Role You Will Execute On:

Timely processing of SURP’s (internal Surplus Lines requests from service teams).
Complete moving Surplus Lines processes from paper driven to Epic (agency management system) – electronic based for record retention.
100% accurate audits from regulatory agencies.

In This Role You Will Need:

Must be technology savvy as this person will be navigating websites for information and proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.
Must be detail oriented with a focus on customer service.
Have good communication skills including listening, speaking and writing as this person will be dealing with internal and external people.
Have excellent organizational skills including the ability to multi-task.
Have the ability to prioritize workload and manage time appropriately.
Demonstrate problem solving skills, including research capabilities.
