WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Generate new cash revenue for the business by identifying and selling group and small party business in one of our many current and new casino assets.
  • Work closely with Food & Beverage and Marketing Departments to accommodate guest event and planning needs.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Represent the company during marketing, special, and community events and for marketing, special, and community-orientated activities in both local and external markets.
  • Establish weekly call pattern that will generate new accounts and service existing accounts for new and return business.
  • Prepare and submit timely call reports to management.
  • Generate new and return group via sales calls, telemarketing, sales blitzes, FAM, tradeshows and written correspondence business.
  • Develop sales tools, collateral, kits etc.
  • Oversee the material distribution in the market to increase awareness of product and services.
  • Manage travel and entertainment expenses and submit these reports on a timely basis.
  • Cooperate and work with Casino Marketing & Player Development staff, in sharing leads and/or any other activity that will generate new business.
  • Conduct weekly resume and planning meetings accordingly.
  • Cooperate with other departments to communicate to and service patrons promptly.
  • Prepare and distribute daily and weekly reports for various departments affected by all group business.
  • Ensure efficient greeting & club enrollment of all arriving group patrons.
  • Track and report sales revenue.
  • Be available for nights and weekends and attend meetings as needed.
  • Oversee the billing and collection of all Sales Groups; post charges and payments accordingly.
  • Achieve sales goals established by Director of Marketing.
  • Conduct Pre-Con and Post-Con meetings accordingly with client and Hollywood Team Members.
  • Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
  • Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be at least 21 years of age. Bachelor’s degree. Three to five years of sales and/or marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to drive toward results.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to travel as necessary.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
