About the Role:

In this essential role, you will spearhead sales activities for underground utility systems, including waterlines, storm sewers, and sanitary sewers. If you’re ready to be the technical backbone of exciting projects from bidding to execution, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review project plans and specifications
  • Conduct material takeoffs for utility projects
  • Develop accurate project quotes
  • Prepare submittal packages for compliance
  • Collaborate with contractors and internal teams
  • Track projects from bid to completion
  • Work with sales and operations for smooth execution
  • Maintain strong customer relationships
  • Identify opportunities for improvement
  • Be flexible with working hours when needed

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Knowledge of underground utility materials and construction methods
  • Ability to read and understand civil drawings and plans
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as NetSuite and Microsoft Office
  • A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, or 4+ years of relevant experience in underground utility construction or materials sales may also be acceptable.
