About the Role
We’re hiring a Water Truck Driver / Laborer to operate a water truck and perform a variety of manual tasks on active paving projects.
This is a full‑time, seasonal position that plays an important role in supporting job site operations and keeping projects moving safely and efficiently. Union membership is required for this role.
What You’ll Do
- Operate a water truck to fuel and water on‑site equipment
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Assist with job site preparation by clearing obstacles and hazards
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to designated areas
- Load and unload materials from trucks and equipment
- Support Operators, Flaggers, and other crew members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Dispose of waste and debris in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Walk and work on uneven terrain throughout the workday
- Exposure to noise, dust, fuel, and construction materials
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends
What You Bring
- Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and project needs
- Strong communication skills and attention to instructions
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality work
