About the Role

We’re hiring a Water Truck Driver / Laborer to operate a water truck and perform manual tasks in support of milling operations and site preparation for paving. This is a full‑time, seasonal position assigned to a milling crew, and union membership is required for this role.


What You’ll Do

  • Operate a water truck to supply water to milling machines and support equipment
  • Safely maneuver and position the water truck around active milling operations
  • Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials
  • Assist with site preparation by clearing obstacles and removing hazards
  • Transport tools, materials, and equipment to designated areas
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles
  • Support Operators, Flaggers, and other crew members
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  • Dispose of debris according to safety and environmental requirements
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Work outdoors in varying and sometimes extreme weather conditions
  • Walk and work on uneven terrain throughout the workday
  • Exposure to noise, dust, grease, fuel, and construction materials
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends

What You Bring

  • Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
  • Ability to adapt to changing tasks and project needs
  • Strong communication skills and situational awareness on active job sites
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and quality work
