About the Role

We’re hiring a Distributor Truck Driver / Laborer to support paving operations by operating a distributor truck and performing a variety of manual tasks on job sites. This is a full-time, seasonal position that plays a key part in keeping paving projects moving safely and efficiently. Union membership is required for this role.


What You’ll Do

  • Operate a distributor truck to apply tack coat ahead of paving operations
  • Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials
  • Assist with job site preparation by identifying and removing hazards
  • Transport and handle construction materials, tools, and equipment
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and equipment
  • Support skilled workers such as Operators and Flaggers
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  • Properly dispose of debris in accordance with safety and environmental requirements
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
  • Maintain regular in-person attendance

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Walk and work on uneven terrain throughout the workday
  • Exposure to noise, dust, grease, fuel, and construction materials
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends

What You Bring

  • Valid Class B CDL with no manual transmission restriction (Class A preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness on active job sites
  • Ability to adapt to changing tasks and project needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
