About the Role
We’re hiring a Lowboy Driver to transport heavy equipment such as pavers, rollers, excavators, end-loaders, and other machinery to various job sites for construction projects. You’ll primarily operate during first shift and enjoy the benefit of being home every night. This is a full-time, seasonal position that plays a key role in ensuring safe, timely, and accurate deliveries.

What You’ll Do
- Safely operate a commercial lowboy truck to transport heavy equipment
- Load and unload equipment, securing loads with chains and binders
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck cleanliness
- Comply with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers
- Utilize fleet management software for dispatch assignments
- Maintain regular in-person attendance
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Ability to climb and descend ladders
- Work outside normal business hours and in varying conditions
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL with manual transmission
- Current valid DOT physical and clean driving record
- Familiarity with safe operation of construction and paving equipment
- Knowledge of USDOT and FMCSA safety regulations
- Understanding of DOT weight restrictions and cargo securement rules
- Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed
- 5+ years of lowboy/carry-all experience preferred
