Frozen Specialties Inc is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at our Archbold, OH location.

Position Information
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure products or services meet consistent standards of quality and comply with regulatory requirements.
This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance policies, coordinating audits, managing corrective actions and driving continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance procedures and policies
- Lead and manage the QA team, including hiring, training and performance evaluations
- Oversee product inspections, testing and validation to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Coordinate internal and external audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with production, engineering and customer service teams to address quality issues
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports for senior management
- Manage corrective action and preventive actions (CAPA) processes
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology or similar disciplines
- Experience in manufacturing
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Certification in HACCP, SQF, PCQI, Internal Auditor, preferably in a USDA inspected facility
- Experience with quality management software and statistical analysis tools
Compensation
The salary $85,000 per year
This role requires the selected candidate to work on-site 5 days a week, typically between 8am – 5pm with an hour for lunch.
