GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Learning Technology & Data Consultant is responsible for supporting the use of innovative learning solutions that utilize advanced technologies and knowledge management to address Bancorp employee performance needs. They will provide consultation on learning technology tools and applications across a wide scope and large scale, addressing multifaceted client needs across the Bancorp and in support of the lines of business. The Learning Technology & Data Consultant is accountable for managing risks, driving organizational change, and ensuring a superior learner experience. Responsibilities will fall largely into three primary categories: Consultation & Partnership, Implementation, and Data Curation & Analysis.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consultation & Partnership:
  • Collaborate with Senior Learning Consultants, Learning Product Owners and Designers to proactively identify and anticipate learning project needs where technology and knowledge management can be applied to drive transformative learning experiences.
  • Evaluate business requirements and determine the most innovative and effective technology solutions for learning projects, following Agile and Analysis, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) processes and procedures.
  • Support the identification, evaluating, and onboarding of new vendors and technologies that align with the L&D technology strategy, conducting thorough assessments and negotiations to ensure optimal partnerships and solutions.
  • Implementation:
  • Provide guidance and thought leadership during the design and development phases of projects, leveraging knowledge of learning principles, performance improvement strategies, Agile methodologies, and emerging trends in learning technologies.
  • Ensure the effective application of learning technology solutions to maximize their value and impact on learning outcomes, continuously monitoring and evaluating their effectiveness.
    • Manages Learner Experience Platform (LXP): Ensure the Learner Experience Platform and other learning technologies are up-to-date and functioning efficiently.

    • Integrates with Learning Management System (LMS): Ensures content and completion data are integrated appropriately between the LXP & LMS.

  • Design, build, test, implement, maintain, and enhance learning technology solutions, leveraging advanced technical skills and expertise.
  • Data Curation & Analysis:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement, reporting on the effectiveness and impact of learning technology initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of the impact on the audience and identify potential constraints, working proactively to address any gaps and challenges.
  • Manage and lead Communities of Practice, fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning among team members.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and evolving work environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Learning and Development, Education, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-Minimum four years of professional experience using the skills of Technical Consulting, Problem Solving & Implementation.

- Proven track record of successfully working with external vendors and managing vendor relationships to drive optimal outcomes.

- Understanding of how technology can be strategically applied to drive transformative learning solutions and enhance the overall learning experience.

- Proficiency in using and managing LXP platforms to deliver and track training programs.

- Strong knowledge and familiarity with LMS platforms. Knowledge of Workday LMS is a plus.

- Strong consultative skills, including active listening, insightful questioning, and persuasive communication, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Knowledge of key learning principles, performance improvement strategies, Agile methodologies, Process Improvement, and instructional design frameworks.

- Financial acumen and understanding of key business metrics, with the ability to align learning technology initiatives with organizational goals and demonstrate their impact on business outcomes.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate and present complex ideas and concepts to business leaders and stakeholders.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with multiple levels of management across an organization, fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and partnership.

- Experience in knowledge management and implementing innovative learning technology solutions, preferably in a large-scale corporate environment.
