For our office in Suriname we are looking for an Executive Assistant.

The opportunity
The Executive Assistant will provide diversified support to a variety of client-serving and Core Business Service (CBS) professionals, including partners and directors. You may also support service line or engagement-specific teams. You will call on your experience, skills and knowledge, and maintains a current understanding of firm policies, procedures and practices. In addition you may also collect, compile and analyze moderately complex data, and coordinate projects and deadlines directly or through others. You’ll work independently, with limited supervision.

• Streamline our leaders' days by expertly managing their calendars and orchestrating meetings.
• Be the architect of seamless travel experiences, from flights to accommodations.
• Craft impeccable documents that embody our brand's excellence.
• Keep our digital world orderly with smart document management.
• Build valuable connections, becoming the go-to resource within our network.
• Drive small project plans forward, both locally and across virtual landscapes.
• Take the reins on administrative tasks, ensuring client engagements run smoothly.
• Master our tech tools to deliver top-notch results.
• Anticipate needs and solve routine challenges with finesse.
• Be the guardian of quality, confidentiality, and risk awareness.
• Navigate our firm's landscape with ease, knowing the who's who and how's how.
• Run the front desk with a welcoming smile and manage our office heartbeat.
• Oversee office essentials, from supplies to maintenance.
• Coordinate the pulse of our office, ensuring our courier and cleaner teams are on track.
• Lend a hand to our Facility, IT, and Finance departments, ensuring the Suriname branch thrives.
• Be the vital link to our Trinidad office, smoothing out administrative paths.
• Cultivate strong vendor relationships and handle coordination like a pro.
• Support HR with a human touch, fostering a vibrant workplace culture.
• Orchestrate memorable office events and empower colleagues with your proactive support.

Knowledge and skills requirements

• English & Dutch language skills - excellent written and verbal communication.
• Effective interpersonal skills, with an ability to interface with personnel at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
• Proficiency with automated calendar management tools.
• Excellent software programs knowledge.

Experience

• A minimum of 3-10 years of secretary experience.

Education

• An Associate's degree, or a minimum of secondary vocational education in a related field, or an equivalent level of work experience.
