JOB SUMMARY & KEY OBJECTIVES:

Assist the Plant Electrician in performing maintenance, repairs, and installation of electrical components for the Northwood Facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems to maintain and improve operations
Perform routine maintenance, installation of conduit, and run wire
Troubleshoot to install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring equipment using hand, power, and precision measuring tools.
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
Assist with the maintenance of equipment to meet electrical code and safety
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams and perform functions from those documents
Audit electrical systems and lighting systems for safety and efficiency of cost
Follow all safety rules, guidelines and General Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational skills
Continuous attention to detail
Electrical Certificate
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Experience with Allen Bradley ladder logic programming
