Responsible for final assembly expansion joints, including bundling and banding for shipment.

What You'll Do

• Review expansion joint drawings and assemble joints to specifications.
• Straighten and Touch up coatings needed.
• Skid/Bundle, band joints for shipment.
• Label skids for shipment with job #, weight and skid number
• Label bundles with job number and bundle number.
• Document work performed, including time & materials, on labor report, skid sheet and in computer.
• Keep workstation clear and orderly
• Perform safety checks on equipment in area.

In addition to the accountabilities listed above, individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.

Technical Skills: Reading and using precision measuring equipment, MS Office, Label making

Licenses / Certifications

Forklift operator certificate will be required

Physical Requirements

(Approximate time spent to be included in physical demands such as walking, or bending, specific lifting requirements and/or other requirements such as vision or hearing.)

Most of the time spent standing and walking. May be situations which require up to 40 pounds of lifting. Must be able to bend periodically. Must be able to see and hear.
