Summary

To assist the full-time professional guest relations specialist in managing all conference and event related activities/tasks at the BGSU at Levis Commons Conference & Event Center, in Perrysburg, Ohio.

Essential Functions

  • Assists in planning and coordinating events and meetings at BGSU at Levis Commons.
  • Assists in arranging catering services for clients and guests.
  • Assists in setting up and running audiovisual services for clients and guests.
  • Assists in preparing rooms for guests and providing clean-up services during, and/or, after each event.
  • Assists in marketing meeting and event facilities to the public.
  • Ability to work independently, as the On-Site specialist, utilizing exemplary problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Charismatic, confident, and calming personality.
  • Self-starter who is intrinsically motivated and professionally driven.
  • Reliable
  • This position is geared towards high-performing and relational-savvy individuals
  • This individual will need to provide her/his own transportation to and from the City of Perrysburg.
  • This position does require some evenings and weekends.
