Position Overview

This position is responsible for providing project support to the SAP team while learning core enterprise application practices. The SAP Intern will assist with testing, documentation, data validation, and basic configuration under close guidance, helping ensure quality and timely delivery across ongoing SAP initiatives.

This role will begin as a part-time internship during the spring semester. Starting in May, it will transition into a full-time internship as part of The Andersons Summer Internship Experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute across analysis, testing, documentation, and day‑to‑day SAP operations as team priorities evolve.
  • Maintain clear process/system documentation; capture meeting outcomes and track action items.
  • Participate in data reviews and basic reporting to surface trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Support work intake and triage; escalate appropriately and monitor progress to closure.
  • Learn end‑to‑end process flows; complete defined tasks with coaching and feedback.
  • Assist change/release activities (e.g., UAT coordination, environment readiness, validating outcomes).

  • Minimal job-related experience
  • Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks
  • Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy
  • Works with either close supervision, or under clearly defined procedures

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related major
  • Junior or senior academic standing required
  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience required
