Job Description:

Position Overview

The Seasonal Maintenance Technician I is accountable to repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to established safety, predictive and productive maintenance procedures to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

This position would be for a 4-6 month timeframe and the position hours would be Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment, building interior and exterior.

  • Maintain computerized preventative maintenance system

  • Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards related to position. Work in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations, take appropriate action to ensure safety of self and others in building.

  • Assist with plant activities as required

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Has basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process

  • Works within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines

  • Works with close supervision

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience required

  • Experience with pumps (centrifugal, air diaphragm, mag drive), pneumatic drives, hydraulic cylinders and HVAC

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

  • Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time

  • Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 60 pounds

  • Must be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 100 feet

  • Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures

  • Working conditions could include: dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces
